Sally Ishikawa

Sally Ishikawa

Glass, fiber, acrylics, and sometimes clay are my media of choice.  This year I am using two different mediums to explore color in landscapes.    Glass’s melting and melding characteristics can lead to exciting textural and color twists. And acrylic paint color possibilities and paint surface possibilities are almost limitless.  Because both media can be added to, covered up, and moved around, little “ahhah” moments can move right into “what if” moments at any time.   That’s when life gets exciting!
