"I've Immigrated here from Russia in my early teens with my family. Living through the cultural shock and language barrier was quite the experience but it taught me a lot. Since overcoming those challenges I've fallen in love with Oregon, including its flora, fauna and the people here who were exceptionally welcoming and kind to me and my family.
This combined with an inspiring trip to Yosemite National Park, my interest in art and a strong desire for making gifts for those who are close to me eventually drove me to take up woodworking.

I love making all sorts of trinkets and goods. Especially something I could look at and use everyday. There's some sort of delightful excitement when using a beautiful cutting board when making food for your family or making dough for sweet rolls using a French rolling pin.
I've showcased my work around Oregon in a few shows including: Corvallis Fall Festival, Sunriver Art Fair, Silverton Arts Festival and Salem Art Fair."
