I paint on cigar boxes. My main subjects are birds of all kinds: local, exotic, rare, and totally whimsical. I also paint a variety of other animals… observing and painting animals delights me.
Recently, I have been experimenting with painting in a more primitive style on the boxes. Some of these folk art boxes feature a message or quote. All of the boxes feature vibrant colors!
I have also been incorporating small metal charms in my work. The charms add a sense of mystery and story to my paintings.
