Bruce Heys

I built my first fishing skiff with my dad (who was not a woodworker) at age 13. Since that time, I have turned wood into many useful and practical items such as kayaks, sailing and fishing boats, a teardrop camper, cabinets and furniture. The big projects are fun but I also enjoy smaller projects such as whimsical boxes.  I am a self taught woodworker who enjoys learning new techniques and working with different types of wood.
