“This work expresses a personal experience having to do with meditations, dreams and emotional feelings and reactions to the possession of life. The surface of each piece tells a story in pencil that is then reworked in the process of painting with oil pastels and acrylic medium. Objects are added to finish the story.

The dolls adopt a persona of their own.Stories of their personalities are written in ink on their bodies. Eachfigure is constructed of both natural and man-made fibers. Their bodies are designed simply to allow the costume to take over the character of each doll.”
